Directions to Rodef Shalom Temple

From the East: From the Turnpike west, take Exit 6 (Monroeville) to Pittsburgh. It is approximately 17 miles from this exit to   the Temple.
From Turnpike exit, follow Route 376 West into Pittsburgh. Exit at Oakland (Bates Street) Go up Bates Street (a small hill) and get into right
lane to proceed straight through the intersection, crossing the   Boulevard of the Allies. Continue on Bates Street several more blocks. Turn
left onto Bouquet Street and go   several blocks to Forbes Avenue and turn right. Follow directions in box below - FROM OAKLAND

From the North: From the Turnpike east, take Exit 3 (Perry Highway - now Cranberry) onto Route 19 South and follow signs   to 79
South Once on 79 South, follow signs for 279 South. Continue into the city. Follow signs to 579 South. Watch for   overhead signs to the
Veterans Bridge and take this exit. In crossing the Veterans Bridge, stay in left lane. After crossing the bridge, follow signs for 376 East to
Monroeville. (You will need to get into the far right lane.) A narrow ramp will lead you onto the Boulevard of   the Allies. Do not exit the
Boulevard at the 376 junction. Stay in left lane to Oakland and take the next exit to teh right   which will put you onto Forbes Avenue.
Follow directions in box below - FROM OAKLAND

From the South, West, and the Airport: From 79 South, exit at Pittsburgh onto 279 North. Come into the city through the Fort Pitt
Tunnel. Crossing the bridge, you must get into the far right lane and   follow signs for 376 East. Exit 376 at Forbes Avenue (approximately 2
miles from the tunnel). Follow directions in box below - FROM OAKLAND

From Downtown Pittsburgh: Turn outbound onto Forbes Avenue at Grant Street. Follow directions in box below - FROM OAKLAND

From Oakland:
            Stay in middle lane on Forbes Avenue and go through the business district of Oakland.
            You will pass the Cathedral of Learning on your left and The Carnegie on your right.
            Continue through the traffic light at Craig Street and get into the left lane.
            At Morewood Avenue, turn left and get into the left lane (right lane is right turn only).
            At traffic light, go straight through and cross Fifth Avenue.
            Rodef Shalom Temple is on the left side. Make the second left into the parking lot.
