Band Festival
Information for Band Members |
A note from your
conductor:
I am excited and honored to be working with my musical friends and
colleagues for this "festival band" experience. I hope you enjoy the
musical selections. We tried to pick numbers that represented different
styles, had audience appeal, were interesting musically but which could
be prepared in the rehearsal time we have together. The March Time
selections are in honor of one of my mentors, Ray B. Haney, a music
educator and community band champion from North Carolina who has
recently passed. - Elisabeth Heath Charles
